Questions people ask

Do I need to be a strong swimmer?

You need to be comfortable in the water. Your instructor checks your swimming in the pool and helps you build from there.

Is anything else extra?

Gear rental is included. The only extra is your dive site: Crater entry is $120 for both days, or a Blue Lake hotel night is about $100 for a room with two queens.

How does buying first work?

You buy the Open Water certificate online for $350. Then we call you within a day to pick your class. If it's for you, put your own email in the "To" box at checkout.

Can I give it to someone else?

Yes. Put their name and email in the "To" box and choose the delivery date. They pick their own class.

Is there a refund policy?

The certificate is good for 6 months. Once you've booked a class with it, it can't be refunded, so pick your date when you're sure.
